Manuela Di Prima, the Italian born Creative Director, conceived Maison Di Prima in 2009 whilst attending Parsons School of Design.

Manuela’s greatest source of inspiration has come from exploring and being inspired by the perception of contrast – romance and darkness, timeless elegance and provocative allure, perfection and imperfection. Additionally, Manuela’s Italian roots and broad international experience are clearly reflected in the essence of the brand.

Whilst working on her first designs, Manuela received recognition from the Vogue Italia new talents scouting team. Further being awarded the design prize of creating a dress for the Christian Louboutin anniversary event held at Bergdorf Goodman is another example of Manuela’s early accolades.

Today, with their elegant showroom based in Tribeca, Manuela continues to produce Maison Di Prima ready-to-wear collections seasonally.

Maison Di Prima’s expression of contemporary Italian couture is evident in their bespoke menswear service, where each piece is hand sewn by Maison Di Prima’s team of Italian-based craftsman.

The sophisticated construction of each piece is the outcome of authentic, traditional tailoring knowledge that has been transferred from generation to generation, tailor to tailor, with a continually open mind to the development of the process.
